2008-P Alaska Quarters With Claw Errors

biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 06/09/2014 10:15 pm The Alaska claw "errors" were heavily hyped by some ebay sellers when the coin was issued but hype does not equate to value, especially when that hype involves an inherent weakness in the die design. Arizona quarters were also being sold around the same time as "extra leaf errors" due to similar die chipping. Report this Post to the Staff

Only one did NOT have any die chips in the claws.... I know they make a big deal about these chips on ebay, but I still think ones WITHOUT chips are harder to find. Report this Post to the Staff
