Any Chance This Is A 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter?

Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 08/03/2014 5:43 pm I apologize for the horrible photos, but I took them from an auction and can't do any better. I saw this Standing Liberty quarter in an auction, now ended, and am wondering if there is any chance it was a 1916? Not being sure I didn't bid. The wall lines on Liberty's left look very worn and the rivets on the shield also appear to be very weak, but the photos were so bad I can't hazard a guess. It's 99.99% a worn 1917, but you only learn by asking. Opinions are welcome. Paul Bulgerin Report this Post to the Staff
