There is a piece of glue or gunk stuck to the penny. It's not an error.

It's not glue or gunk it's metal and the number 20 that you See is raised and in the right sequence. I guess I'll get out the microscope take couple pictures that way.

I don't see a number 20, but the date (2000) is partially obscured by the blob. The blob is clearly a contaminant of some kind that got stuck to the coin after minting; it's produced a stain in a circle around it. It is not an error. It's possibly solder or something.

It is without a doubt surface contamination of some sort, the surrounding stain/corrosion is a giveaway.

I think as well its gunk of some sort,have u checked it for a Class 9 Doubled Die. If not take a look u never know till u look.
