coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/06/2015 11:20 pm This looks like a piece of lamination peel that got struck to your coin during the strike. The reason I think this is that it is not in a straight line (from what I can see in the images provided) like a lamination would show. I would not remove it though. Keep it safe in a 2X2. If you have an accurate scale, it should weight slightly more than a normal nickel. Report this Post to the Staff
