Yessir.
The margins aren't exactly as they appear in the scan (my scanner seems to crop a bit), but they're pretty good. This one is going into my Dansco.

Well, I sold my St. Louis strap on ebay for $310.00 + shipping. When I researched recent completed sales, the first strap sold in Orlando last February for $631.00 !! Then, a another Tampa seller listed a bunch of straps in March that sold from between $208.00 and $338.00. I waited for those to end. Mine was the only strap for sale at the time I listed it. One bidder on mine had his own listings for batches of 10 H* notes, selling for around $40.00

This one looks to have been ran through the mill a time or two. Pretty beat up and worn for a 2009 I thought, and kind of surprised it was still "out there". I received this one in change due back from a recent purchase. Side Note: Post Count 50

Yes, this note has seen better days. It also has some strange margins (unless that is a product of your Photoshoppery, which is pretty cool, by the way). Regardless it's always fun to find a star in the wild.

Yes it was my photoshop skills(or lack there of), was trying to be creative on some different display ideas. Also thanks for pointing that out because I do want to represent the coin or bill accurately. Although the Margins on this bill are actually fairly decent with the only exception being on the reverse, left side, being slightly larger.

Mainly 1920's to 1940's -/+
Just about any seal color.. not really looking to make profit but it's the books says it's worth 150.. and I can get it for 75.. why not! I really just like enjoying having a stack of notes to show people.
Mainly just look for deals.. and us currency with a little color. Maybe a star here and there..
Any recommendations on good bills I should try and get? Thinking about going for one of those experimental silver certificates but not much on super common bills.

Forget what the "book" says except as a broad guideline. Beyond that, decide what you like and try to form a collection rather than just buying anything that comes along - this is the best way to learn, even if you change your objective every so often (we all do). If you like small notes, then pick a denomination or a type, along with a grade range you can afford, and get started.
The denomination you show, $5 USN stars, is a great place to start, with only a couple of tough notes.

So I took your statement into consideration and decided to go looking for a 1934 blue seal to match the 5 other 5.. scored this unc (or super close.) for 25$...
