I hope you did well, but be cautious of things that appear to be too good to be true.

Also, it is important when you show notes that you list them properly in your reply - this is not just a "1934 blue seal", but 1934A - there is a big difference.

Just received in the mail today, the May/June edition of Paper Money magazine....the reason I mention this is starting on page 224 is the most comprehensive explanation of modern star notes that I've ever read. Hats off to Joe Farrenkopf for the detailed article.

And, as a bonus, Joe has another article (page 244) about the 1988A Web Star notes.

Where does one subscribe to Paper Money magazine? I did a very quick Google search but didn't turn up anything that looked "right".

You get it free included in a SPMC annual membership. The magazine is a a bimonthly and their website is chocked full of information, blogs, and everything paper money.
