On a one-dollar purchase today I paid with a five and got a worn 2013 two in change. I will be sending it on its way at some point here.

Hey Numisma, where are you getting these 2 dollar bills in change? None of the businesses by me hand out 2 dollar bills to my knowledge, so if I were to pay with a 5, I would most likely get a few 1s as change.

Would be my guess that someone paid with a two and the shop owner was giving out in change just to get rid of it...

My latest circulation of $2 bills at my farmers markets and in general was $1840. The last sevreal weeks' batches from the bank were again all new bills.

I'm able to blast out $300 worth each week thanks to a convenience store manager who believes in the cause, but unfortunately I can't count these bills.

However, I got one in change from the coin shop yesterday, and I bought my wife and I a couple of cold fountain drinks with it while on the way home.

$30,366 to go, and methinks I will resume buying gasoline in $10 increments with $2 bills.
