Anyone Collect Matching Banknote Vignettes?

GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 822 Posts	Posted 02/12/2017 02:42 am Over the years I've picked up a good number of proofs and prints from the BEP and bank note companies. These appear on obsolete notes, federal currency, stocks, bonds, and various other securities. When I can, I try to obtain matching items, although in some cases I have to content myself with a matching image if a note is particularly rare. Here are a few examples. GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 822 Posts	Posted 03/17/2017 7:10 pm I don't have a lot of criteria, except that the vignette must be engraved (not lithographed). And I don't generally spend a lot of money on them. I think my most expensive single vignette was $30, but more often they're in the $10-$15 range. I guess I generally buy items that match other pieces in my collection, but sometimes I just like the designs. Here are a few other match-ups ... Report this Post to the Staff
