Since the original project 25K is complete, let's start over. This time, as Jbuck suggested, the goal should be 50,000 dollars since a higher goal is a good initiative. To start the new project, I spent a single two on lunch the other day.

After we finish, toward the end of 2020, we can start the $100K project, which should end around 2030. By the time 200K is done, I'll be 50!

The comment was made that this challenge would take 5 years. I need to decide if I continue posting our roughly $600 per week of $2 bills handed out or not at the SF Bay Area Farmers Markets. Please give me feedback. We handed out $876 since this started now in $2 bills. Obviously our totals skew the project amounts. I look forward to more information. Also, I am curious about pre-bicentennial circulating $2 bills.... In the 8+ years I have been handing out $2 bills, I have received in either the bundles from the bank or the bills paid with at the farmers markets only 5 pre-1976 $2 bills. This is in over $150,000 in bills demonstrating a very, very low level of circulation of those bills. While this is not a surprise, I am curious if this is representative of the reality level of circulation, high or low. Thanks to all.
