I mainly look for any ( BU ) Notes with My Navy Ship # 731 along with the previously sunk named ship # 622. I also collect the usual collector notes ending with 911 or 711.
I usually have to buy a B E P Wrapped Brick to get these number. I stopped at a Bank and asked the teller to go in the Vault looking for any Brick that has a Star Note on top. I new they had 16 Bricks in the Vault since I was in the area 2 week previously.
She came out with this I have to do more research this week on the Internet, Is is possible to get ( 1,000 ) Star Notes in a Bundle. This being San Francisco Series 2013. Going to Contact the Major Currency Auctions Site since they might know the answer. No Production Numbers on this ( K Series ) Brick.
Thanks Let me know if you have ever Got a Brick or 1000 Star Notes -goldnugget I am having trouble uploading an image, maybe I don't have enough Post Please Scroll down. Picture of the Sealed Brick attached. Edited by goldnugget 10/31/2016 8:57 pm

I'm confused.
You mention San Francisco and Dallas. You mention 2016 in the title and we all know there are no series 2016 notes. Did you get a brick of notes ? Were they star notes ? What is serial L116066 ?

Looks like it is possibly mislabeled or repackaged. The BEP strap, under the label looks wider than normal.
Dallas Star notes with a San Francisco non star note label.

I thought as an economy measure that stars are no longer printed for each district, so this sort of thing happens frequently - could this be the explanation here? I don't collect modern small notes, so I really don't know.

Well, here's what I know from personal experience. I know what real BEP bank strap labels look like. I have seen many and own some myself. I have several new style, bar coded end label sets with first and last note. Everything matches. I have not seen (in person) a BEP bundle, or ten packs in shrink wrap. I have seen videos and photographs of bundles in shrink wrap. What I remember about them, is the shrink wrap is fairly tight, and the BEP labels around each pack looks just like the ones in my scan. I'm not sure about @goldnugget's photo if anything is genuine. For all I know it could be ONE star note on top and 999 non-star notes below. I'm not saying that's the case, I would have to exam the bundle in person. You would think the bar code and description would match the notes in the shrink wrap, I just don't know enough about it.

The last time I purchased a 1,000 note Brick was over 15 years ago, and the BEP label matched the serial number (I believe it was the 1st & last serial # of the Thousand note Brick) on the label..
I'm wondering if the label is correct, and you have a L-G Block that's a A3 plate position serial number with a Star Replacement, or if you have a K-* Block that was mislabeled..
Any reason for not opening it?

The 1,000 note bricks I have seen are tightly shrink wrapped, but inside, the 100 note packs were just wrapped in the center with a color coded, 1-3/4" BEP paper band. In other words, the 100 packs were not sealed.

I stand corrected, the brick was tightly shrink wrapped and the 10 pack's did have the paper band only..
When my memory fails like this, I think euthanasia should be a viable option..
