1969 D Lincoln Penny Floating Roof And No FG

And at the bottom of the stairs on the left looks like it's not a straight line across it dips down any help would be appreciated ty in advance.. Report this Post to the Staff

The reason the roof is detached and the FG is missing is because the die was WAY over polished. This means that when the die workers were repairing/freshening the dies, they worked really hard on it. This reduced the fields to be as recessed as the FG and top of the roof relative to the die. The devices were basically removed from the die through polishing. Report this Post to the Staff
