Back in the day companies replated the 1943-PDS cents with copper and sold them as "Magician's Coins! Fool Your Friends!" and such for 99 cents each or whatever. These things are a plague to coin dealers and have been ever since they were created. (The phone rings, "I found a 1943 copper cent," I start cringing.)
