kaddyshack, I'd love to go through those coins at your LCS. My LCS is 22.88 for dimes, quarters, 23.08 for halves. ASE premiums high. Lowest premium at my LCS are generic bars.

LCS now up to 22x, but let me cherry pick quarters at 21x because I am a regular buyer.

Sellers at the local coin show wanted 30x face for silver dollars.

$30ea for dollars seems like a good deal to me, especially pre-21 morgans. Most dollars sell readily around $31-33 each from my experience.

My LCS is today at 20× dimes, quarters, half's. You have to go in everyday as he sells it quicker than he can get supplied from walk ins he is paying $17 × face. The big bullion houses want $23.80 for dimes/quarters and $248.00 for a roll of halves! Remember when they were $118.00 with free shipping?

Went to annual coin show today in my city. It was fun, but like most everywhere else prices are high. I don't have a lot of 90% junk so bought some. It was high 23x face. But the dealer let me sort through his stock so I picked a lot of nice ones, especially the quarters. I hope the world situation settles down and PM prices drop accordingly. As you all know Gold is really high currently.

LCS now 22.5x face for dimes and quarters, 23.5x face for halves. Buy price is 15x which seems terrible. I have been a weekly buyer from them until hearing how bad their buy/sell spreads are.

At $25.71 spot my LCS is at $23.52 x face. I haven't bought junk silver in a long, long time. Maybe some in the beginning of 2020. That is like at least $3.50 over current prices for pure silver rounds and some sovereign silver coins. I've been buying those instead. I have never sold any silver but the insulting thing is what the LCS pays for junk - less than spot. Believe it or not but one guy in the LCS, the owner's 25 year old son, actually told me they charge less than spot because he is comparing the $25.71 spot price to the $23.52 x face. 25.71 > 23.52. What?!!!
