Today with the dip bought 100 90% silver Roosevelts ebay coinexchange267 $21.86 face. Free shipping. I've bought from them in the past. I sometimes buy it now, but usually do auctions and those that consider offers. $21.86 is higher than I prefer but junk costs more these days.

Congrats @livingwater I used to buy from Coin Exchange a lot on ebay. Good company and always got good stuff from them.

Quote: please tell me you check the BST threads here in there ?! Forgive me, I don't. Mainly because it is rare that I have enough money for most of what is being sold over there.

My purchases are a great predictor of spot prices. Often when I buy, the next day spot prices DROP. Those dime rolls I got yesterday on ebay are now about $4 cheaper LOL.

@Calzone --- you never know what you'll find over there: http://goccf.com/f/159I urge everyone in this thread to subscribe to that forum. I've seen some good deals over the years especially for bullion and 90%. Right now spruett001 has a thread going, he's been selling a lot of silver over there. You never know what you'll find. Could be a big lot or roll of dimes or a raw single... and it goes FAST when the price is right.

Perhaps I need to start saving up money for stuff like this. I am looking to apply for a job in the future so that might be a possibility.

@Calzone -
I'm getting off-topic here, but if you're low on funds you can try trading for coins on Numista.com ... I've had some good luck there over the years.
PM me if you need any advice...

Stopped at an LCS out of town to see what they had available. Their 90% price was 21x for dimes/quarters and 22x for halves.

Had not been to my LCS in years, so stopped by today and asked about junk silver. Kennedy halves were 26x(!!), everything else even more. Thanks but no thanks.

Roll of 90% quarters at 200 sounds right with spot hovering around 25 this week. That's 5 bucks a coin or 20x.
Two weeks ago I sold 8 rolls of Mercs/Barbers at 20x. It was a bit over spot. (Spruette just sold 5 silver bars on the BST forum for about 12% over spot --- seems to be the new normal).
