Great day so far!

Went to a Wells Fargo miniBranch inside a grocery store for 5 rolls of nickels. Two rolls were the P and D US mint issue 2004 Westward Journey Louisiana Purchase. The shotgun rolls seem to be tight and intact. I guess the change dump continues.

Glad I could help - this thread and your updates in particular inspired me to start searching nickels last year. It's been a lot of fun so far so I'm glad I did!

Went through my first box in awhile and it tuned out to be a good one: 33 pre 1960 including 2 43P War Nickels. I also managed to fill 3 holes which puts me at like 17 or 18 left (mostly silver and keys). I haven't filled a hole in a while so 3 is pretty good. Also got my first 2009P ... it's in horrible shape, but I'm keeping it!

The Buffalo in the photo (end of roll coin) was a worn No-Date.

However ...... in the SAME ROLL were two other Buffalo ..... 3 in one roll! I'm at 4,630 rolls searched ...and have never found more than 1 Buffalo per roll ...... and most likely will never repeat this fun experience.

Further along in the $20 set was a fourth Buffalo and a 1944-D War Silver (wish it was my missing 43-D).

Sooooo ... for me an amazing 10 roll set ..... 4 Buffalo (2 No-Date and 2 1936) and a War Silver

Have some fun ..... search nickels.
