Like 7-8 buffs if I can remember. I could read back through my posts and check because I dont know. I think 2-3 of those were dateless, 2 mintmarked and one of those was a 1913 D type 1. But thats nothing compared to CND.

Just go to your local coin shop and buy a 1950-D. Why would you look for fifty years and not have a complete set?

He is trying to complete an entire set of coins explicitly found by himself through circulation. Buying one from the coin shop is cheating!

It's possible. Not a 1950-D, but I managed to snag a 1939-D out of pocket change, so the key dates are out there.

Jango I'm sure is a lot easier to find a 50D in a roll but a 39D from pucket change is just amazing in my opinion !

Was roll searching a few boxes with my girlfriend this past week, and she was the lucky one who found both of these! Also got a few other wartime nickels, but these 2 were the only hole fillers! What a girl!

There is more excitement in finding something in circulation. It is not a matter of money. Anyone with alot of money can buy a great collection. Who do you think gets greater enjoyment the guy who restores a '57 Chevy or one who buys one completely done?
