I have found a lot of high grade 60's and early 70's lately. Seems like they come in bunches, mostly 60-63.

I have been finding a pretty steady stream of high grade early 60s lately. Some of them really superb!

Listing THREE updates tomorrow; but tired now; too much turkey! Going to bed; getting in line at Best Buy at 3am.....

Good Luck with that! The 6 o'clock news here showed people already camping outside of BestBuy! (and had already been there for hours)

I think the herd has wandered off! (another day without a stray Buffalo) Today I went through a Brinks box, 10 Brinks rolls and 10 customer wrapped. No key dates but did find 3 War (43P, 44P, 45S)and another gem 1960.

I'm now at 128,000 coins (3200 rolls) ......

Latest box has 27 pre-1960 coins with only a well worn VG 1955-P to show for it.

Still need 4 coins .... 38s, 42s, 44d and 45d.

Finally getting around to posting these!

Another Update:

100 rolls
55 pre-1959

Good update for Warnickels; even though laminations are very common on these, this 1943P was exceptional.

100 rolls

Did something this update I had not done before; instead of purchasing a couple of bank boxes or some customer rolls, I bought a $200 bag off a counting machine. I'll try that again!

Did a box last night.

21 - Pre-59's
1 - war (43P)

Also did $180 in customer rolls I picked up before Thanksgiving. Was able to switch out a few in my book for better condition nickels.

44 - Pre-59's
1 - Buffalo (1916 - needed acid to reveal date)

CND - Great lamination issue on that War Nickel. Had to chuckle at the Cud, since it's circa 1983 it should be listed on ebay as a Pac-Man Cud!

1983's seem to be loaded with errors. For 1983 I've found 3 (out of four) broken collars, several misaligned dies, and a base of bust Cud. The top of head Cuds are much rarer than the base of bust, they're much easier to spot by the quality control people at the mint.

130 rolls today (50 String, 58 Brinks, 22 Customer wrapped) String rolls were weak, Customer wrapped yielded 2 War Nickels (1943P) and the Brinks yielded 1 full date 1937 Buffalo and a 1961 Proof! Only 39 other pre 1960 total.

110 rolls today (Brinks box +10, 50 customer wrapped)
The herd must have wandered off again...no Buffalos! BUT...I did get a 1911 Liberty that should make G6, a 1938 that's at least xf and a 1942P War Nickel. (all from the Brinks box) And a total of 53 other Pre-1960. Still looking for some keys...need a 39D.
