For your consideration, a 50 Kronor note with a portrait of the singer Jenny Lind (1820-1887), a Swedish opera singer, often called the "Swedish Nightingale", musical notes (scores) from Vincenzo Bellini's opera Noma, a drawing of Stockholm's old opera house, and a rose. Diverdude Valued Member Canada 280 Posts	Posted 06/24/2022 6:34 pm I saw a Vichy France 100 Franc banknote quite a few pages back & thought a full line-up of denominations posted in a row would be good. These notes are from the southern section of France which after the fall of the country to the Germans was unoccupied until the Allies landed in North Africa. Descriptions from erafjel. First up, the 5 francs note with motifs based on works by the French painter Clement Serveau. The front shows a Pyrenean shepherd, the back a lady from the town of Agen in traditional clothing. This note is clearly inspired by the motto of Vichy France: Travail, Famille, Patrie ("Work, Family, Homeland"). Report this Post to the Staff

Calvary on the right. The watermark is Queen Consort Anne de Bretagne. Anne of Brittany was reigning Duchess of Brittany from 1488 until her death, and Queen of France from 1491 to 1498 and from 1499 to her death. Report this Post to the Staff
