Always nice to see a Panama Pill!

They are incredibly cheap, considering that they are a US mint product, and about as rare as the 1909-S VDB. One thing that has always confused me about them is the lettering. I know that the die was probably hard to engrave, but the lettering just looks sloppy on them. I was afraid mine was a Chinese counterfeit until I realized that they all look like that!

If Panama Pills are US mint products, I wonder if they are the smallest coins made by the US mint?

In terms of diameter, yes, although I think both the 3 cent silver and gold dollar are lighter. The Panama Pill is actually quite thick.
