Has anybody else experienced bad 'flip' used by the mint?

The last 3 coins I received without boxes, but shipped only in vinyl flips, the flips have been broken along at least one edge.

I got one of the 'Green Man' coin delivered today - it was loose in the big box, with the flip 'glued' to some advertising.

I know eventually, it'll be housed in the proper box, when it arrives with the third coin, but it's a little disconcerting that this $150 coin is just flopping around inside the box during delivery.

Yes, ever since RCM shipps in these flips I found 50% in broken ones. Until now I thought it was because I get the packages combined form a third party. But as it Looks now, it is poor package Quality form RCM

When I received my wolf fractional sets, there were boot prints on top of the cases. It looked like someone had been standing on them and/or kicking them.

I kind of like the flips because it makes for easy storage. But now you got me wondering about the vinyl...

We used to get individual coins (parts of sets or subscriptions) in cardboard - cut to size packaging. These never failed. I think the 'flips' are just that much cheaper in packaging. And Yet...they ship the single coin, in a full cardboard box - where they used to use padded envelopes. It can't be cheaper in shipping.
