Double die? CC has 3 similar examples ( 9 examples of raised areas in the 3) but this one the 3 itself is a wider device. Thoughts. Thx.

Possibly Master die doubling. I have the example you are talking about in ms-65, it is a very nice coin with over a 90 degree rotation clockwise

I am not aware of master die doubling on the 1963 Denver cents. It looks more like a minor doubled die to me. There are several different ones for that year and mint.
Maybe some more images would help identify it.

On this example from an earlier die state, you can see traces of the 3 below the dominate 3.

Yeah Cwb, yours is an earlier die state, but I got mine for free so I really dont care that its a LDS.
