If it were a struck through a die cap, the building would be upside down.

This is a deteriorating die cap on the capped die that is showing some age on it.
Very little of the obverse design would be there.

There's not a chance that after the strike that the coin jumped and flipped?

Edit... after thinking about it if it was possible it probably wouldn't land to where the bust and memorial both lined up like they are.

It looks like two coins were glued to each other and then separated

It does happen. But the first strike is nearly all obliterated by the second strike.

Nothing like your coin. I agree with a glue issue theory. But I would have to see a closer shot to be sure.

Coop that first photo you posted...for such a strong brockage transfer still from the die cap that's an awfully strong profile image isn't it? Seem the die cap wouldn't be deteriorated enough yet to transfer such a strong profile that ones pretty wild
