I own nearly all Japanese commemoratives (except gold) until they got crazy with the 47 Prefectures series in the late 2000s. Tokyo 1964 Olympics 100 and 1000 Yen, Japan's first commemorative coins

Japan, Emperor Hirohito's diamond jubilee, 1986 Left: 10,000 Yen (.999 silver, still in OGP blister) Right: 500 Yen   It's crazy to hold the 10,000 yen coin; same buying power as a $100 bill! There was also a gold 100,000 yen produced this year, but that's just crazy talk.

1999 Diana Gold Five Pound Commemorative Proof Royal Mint#2155 of the mintage limited to 7500 Definitely one of, if not the best coin I own ... These are all my pictures that I took tonight.
