This is the best I can do: I may post some other 3-pointers as well.

Funny... the crown has always been one of my favorite British designs, but I never took the plunge to buy one! Anyway, do have this 1890 double florin... 2mm smaller than a crown, but weighs 4/5 as much. Dubbed the "Barmaid's ruin" because people assumed it was just a new crown when it was released.

Wow, that didn't take long to get a five-pointer! Quote: I may post some other 3-pointers as well. It's been done before... got anything that's kind of a way off three-pointer? So far we've stayed in the country. Finn235, I was hoping to see a double florin! I was wondering if you would use your coin from the original post in this thread. I guess five points is better than four

Best I can come up with is 4 points: - 1902 sovereign - 1902-O US dollar - 1917 1/2 crown - 1889 2 florin - 1933 crown:

Quote: got anything that's kind of a way off three-pointer? So far we've stayed in the country. Well, since it won't win anyway, I used to own this but sold it a few months ago (regret ). Bahamas crown-sized silver $2 featuring a British monarch: Also, at 40mm, it is the largest real coin I've ever owned.

Staying in the same country, here's a lowball 3-pointer: 1895 Half Penny: I'll do some more digging.

Quote: Looks like I got this in too late so it is 0 points It's not too late. There are at least three days after the "challenge coin" is posted to submit entries. Yours is 2 points for exact country. The date lends 0 points. By the rules, the size adds 2 points. So, you have a 4-pointer. Better than I can do!

Wow, eight players already Looks like Arkie has a slight lead over Coopertron5000 by just a few years with an 1895 Crown. Pepactonius has 4 points now but needs to double check his list And we have a new player! MontCollector

Although I am sure that nobody will believe me, I actually have a 1902 crown, but it is in a safety deposit box and I have no pictures!
