Funny... the crown has always been one of my favorite British designs, but I never took the plunge to buy one! Anyway, do have this 1890 double florin... 2mm smaller than a crown, but weighs 4/5 as much. Dubbed the "Barmaid's ruin" because people assumed it was just a new crown when it was released.  |

Wow, eight players already Looks like Arkie has a slight lead over Coopertron5000 by just a few years with an 1895 Crown. Pepactonius has 4 points now but needs to double check his list  And we have a new player!   MontCollector |

Although I am sure that nobody will believe me, I actually have a 1902 crown, but it is in a safety deposit box and I have no pictures!
