I was looking to purchase this as a filler, though after reading the comments, I think I will pass. This coin has been graded by ICG EF40-Details, VAM1, Repaired. The asking price is $3,795.00. SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 08/25/2017 3:48 pm Well, the mint mark is plainly tilted. Therefore, if it's real, it's VAM-2. If ICG couldn't get that right with only two to choose from, only one of which has a tilted mint mark, can you really trust their opinion of authenticity? It may well be real. I haven't inspected the features which I doubt in-hand. Not a snowball's chance I'm throwing $3800 at it to find out; it may be the least-liquid 1893-S I've ever seen. Report this Post to the Staff
