Error Nickels Or Not - Coin Community Forum

johnsolaris Valued Member United States 86 Posts	Posted 11/08/2017 10:55 am Hi, I found these 2 nickels in change & wonder if they are true errors. can you tell me anything about them. one looks like it was not plated correctly at the mint & the other has a dark copper or purple look to it. thanks, I await your great knowledge. I recently got back into collecting when a kid at the grocery store gave me an 1887 Indian Head penny in change. He thought it was a fake coin, I was thrilled even though the coin was highly worn.
