Like you Brandmeister, I'd have felt bad scooping it for 25 cents. I'd have shown him the price tag, handed over 10 bucks and said keep the change, thanks for the ounce. Dealers need to be more aware, and you missed taking it home, he even told you. Is that evil?

I felt like I got a bunch of good deals from the rummage bin. I got a pristine 1942 nickel for $7, some Hawaii brass dollars, three Churchill crowns for $2, uncirculated quarters, commemorative tokens, and even a couple PCGS slab boxes for $2.50 apiece. It was a haul for cheap.

Nice little haul today. Got 5 Sterling Bicentennial medals delivered for $97.22 (current melt $166.55) From same Seller, I got 2 rolls of nickels for $28.22. There were 35 War Nickels with some nicer coins, 16 Dated Buffalo ranging from 1913Type1 to 1938D Though mostly 1930's and all the rest except 2 were pre 1959. And last a 1962 Mint set for $33 (current melt $44.28)

I paid $28 for the nickels based on the War Nickels I saw in pictures. Since melt is about $2 each, I was hoping for 15. I ended up with 35 so I'm pleased with that. Buffalos were a bonus. A few have scratches, there are several MM.
