Ratman, if it wouldn't ruin your treasure hunting, I would say you should have a podcast about scoring deals on silver!

I'm an old retired guy that's somewhat technologically challenged (I don't even know what a podcast is). All I can say is, if I can figure it out, anybody with some time on his hands can too!  |

Biggest factor in scoring "deals" on pretty much anything is being at the right place, at the right time, being patient with a quick trigger finger in making offers. Having a decent bank roll to work with helps, too!
One of mine the past few years has been buying 1982 proof and Unc GWashington 90% half dollars. Last count I was sitting on ~400 of em at an avg cost of 5 to 8 each. I still like em, too!

Years ago I was into chasing ebay deals on 1926 S wheat cents. Accumulated a sizable pile for a 'decent' price--overall.... |

Another .999 pickup (3) ASE delivered for $54.74 (current melt $114.78). A little acetone should remove most if not all that pesky paint.   |
