If I look close I can see the 7 tripled. America on the reverse. I use only one light source for the in close pics.

That's Die Deterioration Doubling on the date, caused by a worn die (die wear). Also the die has been over polished to remove Die Clashes and to get more life out of the die as well. http://www.error-ref.com/die-deteri...on-doubling/

Edit: the other devices shows Die Deterioration Doubling on the obverse and reverse as well.
