I was studying my dads coins and came across this—is this a rare inverted A for the V in Victoria coin I just read about—sorry at this time best pic I have—my dads notes say its the 1880s which he bought in 1995-will try to get better pic in near future—if it is what is value of the coin?
Have a question—i have never sent a coin for 3rd party grading but feel I should for this coin—-what company wound you recommend?—what level would you send it?—hard to figure price since so few out there and would think price vary widely depending on grade—thanks

PCGS and you will want to have that one at the Express level to be able to properly insure it.
I would call them before hand just to double check if you need to select the variety service for that or not. I believe it should be an automatic designation, but I am not positive
You don't need to select variety or error to send this one over. It has its own line on the pop report and can go under the express or regular service level.
