Hi guys, just started detecting a couple of months ago...only been out 3 times so far here's what I found... The earring seems very old the carbochon looks hand cut..Carnelian stone
Paul
A button of MILICIA NACIONAL of Isabel II (it follows the 1836 uniformity regulation). These units were suppressed in 1844. It is an officer button because is a "cascarilla" type (silver sheet covering base metal).
A small bronze military button...I've yet to attribute, but pretty..
1870 10 Centimos provisional government Spain (30mm)
Thanks Rob, The small 10mm button took me 20 mins to find after the pip!...Really need to buy a pin pointer, any you'd recommend that won't break the bank?...Paul
Welcome to the wonderful world of metal detecting. It is another great addiction. So much to find, so little sunlight to find them. Any pin pointer is better than none.
Ok thanks guys....Had a look at the PP looks good, thanks for the link... The ground here in the summer is like concrete so to carry a jack hammer and MD is hard work... But at last we've had some rain and hopefully the ground has softened a little so will go out this weekend. Will post any finds..Thanks again Paul
