1955 Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Cracked Die--Any Value Or Known Interest In Such Coins?

Do they carry any additional value to collectors? They all carry the same characteristics as follows pic1-crack going through arm into the body pic2- has the crack on the head(difficult to see) pic3-has the marking next to the T in the field * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 01/19/2019 8:50 pm Your photos aren't really showing any known cracked dies for 1955-P Lincolns . #1 could be just a scratch . #2 can't tell if that's a cracked skull or not . #3 Is not a die break , just a hit . But you need to determine first if your coin has a variety and then you can match it to a die number. But if no die variety is present, then they mean nothing. (You can put the horse behind the buggy) Variety first, markers second just ot use to determine die and and match with your coin. Report this Post to the Staff
