biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 09/29/2008 3:12 pm The weakness of USA was caused by either a clogged die or weak strike, I would lean towards weak strike since it is opposite of the high point of the bust. CENT was more than likely struck through something, possibly metal scrap, and I do not think that a Zincoln can develop a lamination(or at least I have never seen one). Something that deep would expose the zinc core but it would not be exposed if it was indented like a strike through.
