Another holed Canadian coin and we can have a "Holey trinity"

My last two 1917 coins - again more George V Britain for all you fans of this venerable early 20th century bearded king and emperor (Who also was an avid stamp collector - although I am not sure how he felt about coins).

A tiny thruppence in Fine condition.

And there is my 1917 - 1916 will be even better!

This is one of my favorites, because it combines history with art and numismatics. (The 5 Ces. is 1918, although the postcard is a 1917.)

Interesting post with the post card, paralyse (three pages back)! Thanks for sharing it.

@Classic Coins you're very welcome. It fits nicely with both days. I have a passion for history (military and otherwise) and anything that combines history with numismatics is a done deal for me.

Nice junk box find Deputy Max. I am still searching for any Walker issued before the 1930s.

Your sig is hilarious too - if it was me I could add

I never met a Halfcrown I didn't like - Princetane.

Loved 1917 seeing everyone's Mercury dimes and Walkers, a large number of British silver, French coins and Canadian. The 1910s were fantastic years for coins!
