Yes, mainly as I can get better shots and you will notice my coins for the 60s are much sharper than the hazy mid 70s - 80s images. I need some better backing though as it's messing up the colours. I only have one more 1965 coin - another gorgeous but teensy 5 cents piece from Hong Kong.

Paralyse, I agree about Ireland.
I have that whole 1966 set in a green wallet. Plus you will see plenty more Irish coins I have going back to 1928 and even 1766.
Starting with the 50s, I will try and get my coins on a black background to avoid colour change caused by our baking hot summer (March is like September here, and as we are subtropical its still very warm 25c (Upper 70s).

Back to the year that Beatlemania took over the world! The second coin of the NZ Predecimal series, the florin and here is a stunning AU/UNC one. Nearly 10 million florins were minted in 1964 and it was the biggest mintage of the series. Dorado - Your Canada and Kennedy halves are just stunning. Thanks

The second of 3 coins for 1964 off me A gorgeous penny from Jersey (Issued coins on and off from the early 1800s) This penny shows the crowned bust of the Queen used in colonies and overseas territories, uncrowned effigies appeared only on British and Independent dominion coins like my Kiwi florin. The Channel Islanders used fractions of shillings too - this is not a penny but 1/12 of a shilling.
