Hi, Newbie here. Please be gentle... I have three Morgans with various "damage" and was wondering if they are gradable (even with "detail") or not. This first is this 1883 with damage to the edge:
Three-Morgan-Dollars:-Grading-For-Environmental-Damage-Vs-Bag-Damage?
Three-Morgan-Dollars:-Grading-For-Environmental-Damage-Vs-Bag-Damage?
Is that bag damage? Do you think it would slabbed only with "Details" or perhaps "Details" and a grade?

The next coin (thank you for your patience) is this 1982-S.
Three-Morgan-Dollars:-Grading-For-Environmental-Damage-Vs-Bag-Damage?
Again, do you this this would be a "Details - Planchet Flaw" and ungradable or that it could be graded along with any details?

Lastly, this 1884-S which looks like someone scratched an "x" onto both sides (don't know why people do this). I may have run out of photo space for this post...

If the TPG matters with the above, I was planning on submitting to the place that begins with an "N". Don't know if I can mention names. Thank you very much for any input! I appreciate you all and your time. Chris

The 1883 is a common date not worth submitting to NGC. Need to see both sides of coin to put a grade or details grade. The 1892 S? You note it as a 1982 S looks like you inverted the 8 and 9.

None of those Morgan dollars should be sent in for any reason . Too messed up ,not worth slabbing .

I personally wouldn't pay more than melt for these in the condition that they are in.
