I see a lot of rotated 1970-S Cents on ebay. They do it intentionally to make it harder to spot the small dates. But here is a way you can out think them:
CRH:-Is-This-A-1970-S-LMC-Small-Date?
You can do this is a business card or even a small piece of paper. Across the top will give you the answer of what it is.
