Not Much To Go On With ID For This Indian (?) Coin

Ocra00 New Member Germany 14 Posts	Posted 08/14/2020 3:55 pm This coin gives me a really hard time identifying. I don't recognize any lettering or coherent parts on it. Any of you recognize something in there? The only thing I know is that it's supposed to be from India and a Kas/Cash coin (colonial era?). It's 3.31 grams and 12 mm. Seeker55 Pillar of the Community United States 635 Posts	Posted 08/14/2020 7:07 pm I believe this is an example of the famous "bull & horseman" billon jital from northern historical India (including parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan), poorly struck and rather worn. The main clue is the dot within the circle near the center of the second photo. This is typical for the hump of the bull. Also the weight is correct. Millions of these were made, generally between 900-1300 AD, by numerous rulers, in dozens of varieties. It is often difficult to determine the variety.
