Unless this 170-year-old Seated Half is profoundly mutilated, I'm sure you could sell it for twice that much, maybe a bit more. Damaged coins do lose most of their numismatic value, but not all of it. However, it sounds like this coin has more family history value than monetary value. Report this Post to the Staff
