I have issues downloading pics , but just need some experienced advice. Have 4 of them 3 really nicely toned but they all look like they have a filled or blob s mint mark , did they have this issue for the 1980 because I'm having a hard time finding any info.

After looking at more pics it looks the s mint mark isn't very clear at all . Out of the 4 they have two different s marks.

Yes I've seen these videos but doesn't answer my question. My coin is a 1980 s and seems to be a wide rim . I'm an idiot when it comes to pics and plan on taking it to a local coin store to get more info . I'll keep you updated.

The 1979-S type 2 through the 1981-S type 1 (to include all 1980-S) are have the same style mint mark. The changes were between the 1979-S type 1 and 2, and again between the 1991-S type 1 and type 2. I don't believe there are any variant 1980-S mint marks. Could be environmental damage. I don't think we can help more than that without a picture. Just make sure the picture is under 300K and you shouldn't have any problems uploading.
