i am trying to find out the value of this coin.'i went to e-bay and found values all over the place from a few dolllars to thousands
can any one tell me if I should have it graded

I'd put the value of 25 cents on this one, looks like a scratch/PMD from where I'm sitting.

Ia agree, it is a scratch showing the metal displacement, safe to spend.

I agree, a scratch = post mint damage. Value: 25 cents. Keep searching!

On the left third of the reverse, you can see where the coin received a second cut to make it appear as a die crack. But it is intentional damage.
