Just a question as I know little about the ships tokens. All of the ships tokens I do have are medal in die arrangement except one. It's coinage. Is this significant? Thanks in advance for any answers!

There are about a bajillion varieties of these tokens.
For some of these varieties coinage alignment is more common than medal alignment.

As DBM said, depends on the variety! Pictures are welcome, as I'd be happy to narrow it down for you.
