Coin roll hunting and I pulled this out, a 1914 something. I'm not sure and wondering what everyone thinks. Please vote Happy for a D or Sad for an S. Thank you.

This does not match any of the 6 generally accepted MM positions for the 1914-D. Must be a damaged 1914-S, and possibly cleaned as well.

Just spit-balling here, but I wonder with that pattern of scratches, could it be that someone changed an S to look a bit like a D?

It can't be a D so it has to be a damaged S
