1996-P Roosevelt Dime Toned? - Coin Community Forum

angel morning New Member Jamaica 13 Posts	Posted 03/23/2022 5:55 pm Hello everyone. I hope you all are well. I would like your insight on a 1996 p Roosevelt dime I have. It seems to be toned. However, I would like to know, how do you tell whether or not it is toned, and what I am seeing is not caused by a substance being on the surface of the coin? I have two photographs of either side. angel morning New Member Jamaica 13 Posts	Posted 03/23/2022 6:38 pm Thank you. I have this coin for at least 15 years. It could be longer than that. It has been inside my home for all that time. I have older Roosevelt dimes that don't look like this but were in the same place inside my home. They have been inside drawers and on top of tables.
