Dowhat Pillar of the Community United States 882 Posts	Posted 10/29/2022 1:43 pm I know most of these turn out to be environmental issues,but I am not able to definitively distinguish the differences yet. The color is the best I could do but it definitely appears as copper, much the same as the 100's of copper cents I search daily. Disregard the shiny area at about 7.5K. Lighting issue. The weight is 5.61 g. Also, the edge images are not a true representation of un-hand observation. They are as copper colored as the faces, shiny part is crud between reading as I see it. If it were a missing clad issue, then the weight would be under and the strike would be weakened from the lack of metal. Note the weaken strike? The red color would be more pronounced on the coin.
