1980? D Quarter Rim On Date PMD? - Coin Community Forum

NumisRob Bedrock of the Community United Kingdom 18033 Posts	Posted 04/10/2023 03:23 am The damage and discoloration make me think that this coin might have been dropped in a park or recreation ground, caught up in the blades of the municipal lawn mower and then spent some time lying around before being found, maybe by a detectorist. I've found several coins on playing fields near my home with similar damage. It's definitely PMD rather than an error.
