2017 Lincoln Cent Strike Through? - Coin Community Forum

Zoolander13 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 09/09/2023 09:15 am Hi all- I am new to collecting and so far I've found some pretty cool things but this one is stumping me. it's a 2017 Lincoln Cent with something stamped into it and I can't figure out what it is. Maybe someone here might have an idea? I thought it might be blue glitter at first but there is a ridge on one side that sticks up a bit and it is really solid and thick whatever it is. pics attached. Hopefully someone here can help. BTW: See all of the lines on your pictures (hiding the coin details)? They are caused by using a camera to take a picture of a microscope (or any) LCD screen. Two simple solutions: 1. Plug the scope into a computer and take a screenshot (or use the SD card option if your scope has one). 2. Use the following simple setup to force focus the phone/camera onto the coin.
