G-6 and looks to have been buried for a long time or in contact with something that was eating the silver.

I don't think that can be graded in any meaningful sense. Obverse looks G6-VG to me; reverse is heavily damaged but, weirdly, retains enough detail that I might even want to put it higher than that. The fact that the detail is so distorted drags it way down the Sheldon scale. If I were a professional grader I would body bag this one.
