My buddy and I were given permission to hunt a Middle Ga cemetery.
Spent about 3 hours and had some interesting finds.
1. Silver plated spool labelled "1881 Rogers A1".
Etsy listed one ("1881 A1 Silver Plate Serving Spoons with La Vigne Grape pattern") of this series but it's 8" long. My find is 5.5". Still see some of the silver. Likely made in the early 1900's so it's still over 100 years old.
2. Large cast iron (?) base to what, who knows.
3. Perhaps part of a wicked lanttern (lower right corner).
4. Shotgun shell and beaver tail pull tab, and other trash.
Question: should I try to clean up the spoon more or leave it as is?
