Wow, bg coming in to save the day with three fantastic albums! Thanks for sharing the history of this set of albums, too! This is another album that desperately needs updating by Dansco.

Thank you everyone! Quote: with two fantastic albums! Actually, those are three albums. They all have 4 pages each. Quote: This is another album that desperately needs updating by Dansco. I believe their three albums are sufficient to hold all coins issued until 2011. However, they will need to add a fourth album for commemorative issues from 2012 onwards.

I see now that the best way to collect the half dollar commems is to get the albums first then start filling holes. (There are just too many to keep straight.._

Quote: I see now that the best way to collect the half dollar commems is to get the albums first then start filling holes The half-dollar commemorative coins are still manageable, but the one-dollar commemorative coins have become overwhelming with new issues every year since 1982. To complete a full type set, one needs roughly 90 coins. If you want to collect both uncirculated and proof versions, the total reaches close to 180 coins.

Quote: Actually, those are three albums. They all have 4 pages each. Good catch, thanks! Here is my 7097 album, which is fairly uncommon. I recently picked it up, so it's empty at the moment, but I thought everyone would enjoy seeing what it looks like.
